Yantai Lutong Precision Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in the Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is currently the vice-chairman unit of the Die Casting Professional Committee of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society.

Lutong currently has the capability to produce 12,000 tons of precision aluminum alloy castings annually, along with designing and manufacturing related casting molds. The company has built an R&D team composed of PhDs and Masters in materials engineering, mechanical design, and related fields, to develop and manufacture complex precision cast aluminum parts for internationally renowned manufacturers of automotive engines, power generators, and industrial air conditioning.

In 2012, Lutong collaborated with the National Engineering Research Center for Mold CAD (Shanghai Jiao Tong University), the National Engineering Research Center for Rapid Manufacturing (Xi’an Jiaotong University), and China National Machinery Science Academy to establish the 'Yantai Lutong Advanced Manufacturing Technology Research Institute' in the Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone. By combining capital and technological innovation, the company increased its investment in product innovation. Lutong also cooperates with renowned universities and research institutes both domestically and internationally, including the University of Cambridge, Tsinghua University, Chongqing University, and Shandong University, carrying out research on high-strength aluminum alloys, developing digital and intelligent casting equipment, optimizing mold CAD/CAM design, performing CAE simulation, applying 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies, and researching lightweight key engine components along with the output of related integrated technologies.

Adhering to the philosophy of 'Technology, Innovation, Development,' Lutong passed ISO/TS16949 quality management system certification in 2006 and ISO14001 environmental management system certification in 2013. Leveraging its mature management system, the company maintains a competitive edge in technology, quality, cost, and responsiveness, continuously meeting customer needs.
